Major General Haluk ÇETİNKAYA

After graduating from Turkish Military Academy in 1980 and Armored Forces School in 1981, Major General Haluk ÇETİNKAYA has commanded squads and companies in several units and in Turkish Military Academy.

After graduating in 1991 from Army Staff College, Major General Haluk ÇETİNKAYA, has been on duty respectively in 3rd Armored Brigade, Directorate of Army General Planning and Principles, 8th Army Corps as Project Officer, 49th Infantry Brigade Command as battalion commander of 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Cyprus Turkish Peace Corps as Branch Chief, 3rd Army Corps Headquarters (NRDC-T) Group Command and General Staff Operations Division as Exercise Branch Chief.
 
Having graduated from United States of America Armored Forces School in 1986, Bangladesh College of Command and Staff in 1998, Major General Haluk ÇETİNKAYA has been on duty in NATO Allied Rapid Reaction Corps as Training and Exercise Branch Chief between the years of 2000 and 2003.
 
Following his promotion to Brigadier General, Haluk ÇETİNKAYA has served as the Head of Army Command Operations and Organizations Department between 2005 and 2007. Between 2007 and 2009 he continued his service as Brigade Commander.
 
Major General Haluk ÇETİNKAYA promoted to Major General on 30th August, 2009 and conducted duties in Directorate of Army Operations and Training and Doctrine Command as Commander of Training Division from 2009 till 2012.
 
Major General Haluk ÇETİNKAYA, married to Hülya ÇETİNKAYA and father to two children, also speaks English.
